Named for the individual tiles used to create intricate mosaic artwork, Tessera is a one-of-a-kind take on our beloved, bygone Toscani style. Hand painted in the town of Santa Croce sull’Arno, Tessera’s mosaic-styled leather embodies Tuscany’s centuries-old artistic tradition, drawing inspiration from Florentine frescoes and Renaissance-era mosaics. The leather is hand stained by two artisans working together, then embossed with a mosaic texture and coated with a lacquer. Once dried, the leather is hand painted again, piece by piece, and finished with a second layer of gloss to ensure lasting color and shine. This work of art will be the masterpiece of your collection.

This prize is available as part of Tieks Against Antisemitism, a virtual fundraiser hosted by Tieks by Gavrieli in solidarity with the Jewish community amidst a horrific surge in antisemitic violence worldwide. All proceeds will support the global fight against antisemitism. Thank you for participating and being an ally against Jewish hate!

Fulfillment

Sizing: Tieks will be made to order in the auction winner's selected size. Size information will be collected by a Tieks customer service rep, who will contact the winner on Friday, December 1.

Final Payment: On Friday, December 1, a Tieks customer service rep will be in touch to collect final payment and shipping information. Tieks Gift Cards will not be accepted as a form of payment. You can also email service@tieks.com. Auction items are final sale.

Shipping: Tessera Tieks will be available to ship in the U.S. or to most international countries with an estimated delivery of 4-8 weeks. We are unable to ship to the following: Afghanistan, Caribbean Netherlands, China, Curaçao, Kosovo, Mexico, Russia, and St. Maarten. We hold no responsibility for any customs, duties, or issues related to deliverability.

A donation receipt will be provided to the winner by BetterWorld.
